A spectator makes a random selection from a stack of ten major
arcana tarot cards. He then selects a “thought plate” from a stack
of blank “plates” and hands it to the performer. When the
spectator is asked to focus on the image of his selected tarot
card, the performer snatches that image from the spectator’s
thoughts, and the image begins to emerge on the previously blank
plate.

1 deck of hand-made and hand-waxed special cards, some blank
and some with faded images
1 photograph of an old man
1 manuscript in German
1 wooden box to house the props
1 set of instructions, printed on parchment-like paper, complete
with suggested patter
